Hey, Liam here. My favorite author is John Flanagan. He has written a lot of great books, including one called The Hunters. It's about a sailor named Hal, along with the rest of his crew, who tries to take back the most prized treasure of his country, which was previously stolen by an evil pirate named Zavac. It is set in more of a medieval time. I love it because it's detailed, funny, and descriptive.

My favorite author is John Green. He wrote many books, including my favorite, Looking for Alaska. Looking For Alaska is about Miles Halter, a sixteen-year-old boy, (ironically nicknamed Pudge, despite his lanky appearance) who attends Culver Creek Preparatory Highschool in his junior year, originally living in Florida. He decided to go here to "seek a greater perhaps." There, he meets such characters such as the leader-like Chip, or the Colonel, and of course, the alluring Alaska Young. This is a tale of disappearances, cigarettes, and a greater perhaps.
This book is beautifully written and descriptive. John Green's writing is almost mesmerizing. I think this shows how talented at writing he is. |
