A Picture is worth a thousand words...
Here are some drawings from Russia - what message do you get from them?
- Alexis M. - this makes me wonder if the world will still be alive soon.
Iman V. - they are beautiful
- Karly P. - These pictures are well drawn. Except for the fact that it is a polluted river and all the trees are cut down. When i see pictures like these it makes me sad to think that the world is dying slowly.
- Sajeda G. - wow! those are really amazing paintings!
- Elena B. - These pictures look like a sad environment. It looks like that the lush and colorful garden is the before picture and the other pictures are the present/future. It's depressing to see life collapse before our eyes. These pictures make it clear that we need to do something to help save our Earth.
- Sunidhi S. - Amazing Young Artists!!!! AWESOME!!!!!
- Margaret M. - really nice pictures the are very beautiful
- Joel S. - These drawings are really beautiful
- Troy B. - That looks awesome
- Alexis M. - this makes me wonder if the world will still be alive soon.
- Miles G. - These pictures remind me of pollution and us humans destroying the Earth. It makes me wonder what our Earth will be like in the future. It makes me feel sad and terrified of what our future holds. These pictures show us what we are doing to the only known planet that contains life. I think we should start using alternate resources for gas and oil.
Earth is our home. But it is in trouble. Do we want to live in dirty places? What can we do to help ecology?
We brainstormed the ideas:
- do not throw away litter, use special bins
- when on picnic in the forest or on the river, take the litter with you
- do not buy goods with unnecessary packaging
- write class and school letters to authorities and advice how to solve local environmental problems
- join international ecological events
- organize events at school to help clear some ponds, woods, river side.
